Small House Solutions: Your One-Stop Renovation Contractor
Home renovation contractors are your go-to when remodelling your residence becomes a task too heavy to shoulder on your own. Choosing the right team to work with is the first step that tells whether the renovation can match your expectations. However, this is beyond just certifying that the contractor is insured and licensed, for quality of work also makes a significant difference. With Small House Solutions as your home renovation contractor, we cannot only match but even exceed your expectations.
We are not limited to only one service, such as custom designing or home construction. Instead, Small House Solutions offers a complete renovation package, including the following:
• mechanical, including HVAC
• concrete (engineered foundations, walkways, fire pits, etc.)
• carpentry (add-on decks, stairs, etc.)
• modular home construction, delivery, and installation
• site-built home construction
Single Family Residential
Single Family Residentials are standalone properties, more commonly built for a family of up to five members. Small House Solutions has designed and built such structures in Texas, ranging from the 880-square-foot Victorian Bungalow by the Church to the 2,531-square-foot Modern Ranch in Hutto. We have also worked with modern designs to mid-century contemporary, industrial, minimalistic, and glitzy— name it, and Small House Solutions will turn your ideas into reality.
Tiny House on Wheels
A Tiny House on Wheels or a THOW is a structure typically under 600 square feet and mounted on wheels, allowing the home to be mobile. Our works include the 160-square-foot SXSW Mobile Cabin, 280-square-foot Barbara Trailer, and 136-square-foot 16-inch Chris Trailer Tiny House on Wheels.
Much like THOWs, park models are also residential structures mounted on wheels. However, these are more designed for long-term or even permanent placement; thus, they are only set up in areas where recreational vehicles or RVs and mobile homes are permitted to stay. Here at Small House Solutions, we have renovated The Caroline and the Roy Farm House Manor, both 400 square feet in size, and providing the essentials despite their minimal dimensions.
Accessory Dwelling Units
Secondary residences built on a property with an existing primary structure are called Accessory Dwelling Units or ADUs. It is a common transaction for home renovation contractors in Texas, and Small House Solutions is one of the most reputable premium builders in the state. From the 300-square-foot Beckett Studio to the 1,100-square-foot Renata Minimalist in Cardinal Hills, the team shows dominance in the industry.
Another way to classify secondary constructs in a lot already occupied by a residential building is an accessory structure. What sets it aside from ADUs is its more distinctive use, which is deeply embedded in its design. Some sample builds from the team are the 300-square-foot Rubenstein Clinic, 200-square-foot Lareina Backyard Office, and 248-square-foot Skyview Studio.
If the remodelling or design you have in mind does not belong to any of the other categories mentioned, the good news is that Small House Solutions also offers its services for miscellaneous builds. Some of which that the team has worked on are the 450-square-foot, 24’ diameter Obi Dome Pods and the MLK Garage Apartment.
